WHO WE SERVE

The HOPE Center of Maryland supports Harford County Public Schools and a local network of beneficiary partners that include food-giveaway providers, church pantries, senior living communities and other community-based programs.

The HOPE Center Network of Community Food Giveaway Partners

Churches -- 

  • First Presbyterian Church, Bel Air, MD. Twice a month. 

    • Operates an onsite food pantry for local individuals and families who are financially challenged and lack food resources.

  • Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, Darlington, MD Monthly.  

    • Provides grocery bags monthly to individuals and families who are in need of food. 

  • Centre UMC, Forest Hill, MD Twice a month. 

    • Operates an on-site food pantry and provides food and other necessities weekly to individuals and families who are in need.

  • Conowingo Baptist Church, Conowingo, MD Twice a month. 

    • ​Operates an on-site food pantry for local individuals and families who are facing financial challenges and struggle to make ends meet. 

  • Saint Mark Catholic Church, Fallston, MD.​ Twice a month. 

    • Operates an onsite Outreach Center for local individuals and families who are financially challenged and lack food resources. 

  • Churchville Presbyterian Church Preschool, Churchville, MD.​ Twice a month. 

    • ​​Operates an onsite preschool for children. 

 

Miscellaneous -- 

  • TUNE - Towson University North East, Bel Air, MD Twice a month. 

    • Operates an on-site food pantry and provides food giveaways to students and staff who need help to access food.

  • Homecoming Project, Bel Air, MD As items are available. 

    • Manages an eight-bed state-certified residential program for women recovering from alcohol and substance abuse.

  • The Sharing Table, Edgewood, MD Weekly during produce season - July to October. The HOPE Center serves a hot meal 3 times during the year (2023).

    • Serves a hot lunch and distributes grocery bags every Saturday to those in need of food. 

  • Grace Place, Havre de Grace, MD Twice a month.

    • Operates an on-site giveaway program that provides food and other essentials weekly to individuals and families who are in need.

  • Key Point Health Services, Aberdeen, MD​ As items are available. 

    • ​Provides behavioral health services. A few programs are Residential Rehabilitation and Psychiatric Rehabilitation. The HOPE Center provides food and non-food items to the clients of these two services. 

  • Alpha’s Glory Pregnancy Resource Center, Aberdeen, MD As items are available. 

    • Provides various services including parenting classes, life skills workshops, free pregnancy tests, and referrals to community resources for housing assistance, food, and professional counseling.

  • Park View Bel Air Senior Community, Bel Air, MD Monthly food giveaway at location - drop offs when there are food items for residents. 

    • Apartments for seniors.

  • ​Park View at Box Hill Senior Community, Abingdon, MD Monthly food giveaway at location - drop offs when there are food items for residents. 

    • ​​Apartments for seniors. 

  • Aberdeen Court Senior Community, Aberdeen, MD Monthly food giveaway at location - drop offs when there are food items for residents. 

    • Apartments for seniors, operated by Catholic Charities.
