The Hope Center
In lieu of monetary or actual food contributions, gift card donations from local retailers such as Aldi, ShopRite, Target, or Walmart are welcome! You may drop off or mail your gift card(s) to our administrative office at 2845 Churchville Road, Churchville, MD 21028.
Since February 2020, the HOPE Center of Maryland has received 1,339,328 pounds of food and non-food necessities. ​These items are distributed weekly to our community food giveaway partners that The HOPE Center of Maryland supports.
Donate Food
The HOPE Center of Maryland depends on food donations from all facets of the community. This includes food retailers, local growers, food service providers, individuals, and others.

Consider holding a food collection drive with your school, work, church, or community organization to collect any of the needed items listed below.
We are in need of these items:
Bottled or Canned Goods
Chicken, tuna, soup, pasta sauce, canned corn or green beans, peanut butter, grape or strawberry jelly, baked beans, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard
Boxed, Packaged, or Dry Goods
Pasta, macaroni & cheese, hanburger helper, cereals, instant mashed potatoes, microwaveable cups of noodle soups, rice
Specialty Items
Frozen prepared meals, fresh fruits and vegetables
Baby Items
Diapers, wipes, baby lotion, baby wash, baby shampoo
Laundry/Cleaning Items
Laundry detergent, dish soap, all purpose cleaner
Paper Goods
Toilet paper, paper towels
Personal Care Items
Toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, body wash, soap bars
